FrankLORDPeacefully at his home in Settle, North Yorkshire on Tuesday 24th November 2020 and formerly of Bacup, Mr Frank Lord, aged 86. Frank was a retired business man, who resided in Blackpool for many years, where he had a shop specialising in Outdoor wear. He had also lived in Italy when he was younger and amongst his other hobbies, he taught Alpine Skiing. Frank had many hobbies, but his main interest throughout his life was Fell Walking and mountaineering. He was a qualified mountain instructor and was also a voluntary warden of the Lake District, where he loved to walk. Frank is survived by four sisters, Mollie, Lilian, Marian and Marjorie, plus many nieces and nephews. There are to be no flowers or donations, as per Frank's request. A funeral service will take place at Burnley Crematorium on Friday 4th December 2020, conducted by Stephen Crook. Funeral Director - Gareth G Proctor for Knight & Boys Funeral Service.
